Meet The Doctor

Since my early years, I was fascinated with the science behind human body. I wanted to become a doctor to help people remain healthy and enjoy their lives.

Prior to becoming a dentist, I did cancer research in Boston, MA, taught math and science, and worked for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in New York City. Now I use my intersectional knowledge to take a more holistic approach and help my patients more effectively.

I believe that dental care should be accessible to everyone. This is why, alongside my dental practice, I work as an educator, preparing the next generation of dentists to serve their communities. Over the recent years, I’ve been active with the Family Dental Health Center of Worcester AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) Residency Program as a Dental Faculty Staff Instructor.

Going to the dentist for major work, such as a build up and crown, is generally not a pleasant experience. This is not the case at Family Dental of Westborough. The entire staff is welcoming, friendly, and very competent.The receptionist goes above and beyond to handle scheduling and issues with insurance. The hygienist and assistant are wonderful. The dentist, Dr. Robbins, was very thorough while making sure that I was comfortable and not feeling pain during the 2 hour procedure. His level of skill was very comforting and I feel confident that the end result will be fantastic.I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Robbins as my dentist.

Went for my routine cleaning. Chris is awesome! Been seeing her for 6 years now. Won't see anyone else.Dr Robbins recently took over the Practice from Dr. Stonian. Dr. Robbins is super friendly, and for an OCD person such as myself, a perfectionist...which I love! Give them a try...you will love them 🙂

I have been going to Family Dental for years! The minute you walk in the door you feel so comfortable! Greeted by Nicole who is always so pleasant, calm and smiling. Never to busy to stop what she is doing to assist you. Chris the AWESOME Hygenist is the BEST! Soft spoken and so thorough when cleaning my teeth. She explains everything she is doing. Very Gentle! I just love going for my cleanings to chat and catch up with her. Dr. Stoihan and her Assistant Andrea make any procedure so at ease. Before beginning any type of service everything is discussed and explained in detail. Such a comforting feeling. I can't express enough how much I can honestly say I enjoy going to the dentist. Dr. Stoihan and her incredible team make me feel so Special! I HIGHLY recommend trying Family Dental. Like me you will walk away with the BIGGEST & WHITEST SMILE!!!

(Wrote a review on an older place that they no longer use, so went out of my way to make an email on google and write a review here.)Searched for "Dentists near me" after receiving insurance and a few good reviews for this office came up, so decided to give it a try. I was extremely impressed with the receptionist in the first interaction over the phone. She found an appointment within 2 days of the first call and I was ready to go.The day of the appointment, I was greeted as soon as I opened the door with a "You must be Nathan, we spoke on the phone. Nice to meet you!"It was then I realized this practice was not like any previous dentists I've been to before. At this office you are treated like a person, not like a number. Every staff member I met has been extremely pleasant, from the receptionist to the doctor. The Doctor makes sure that you know what is happening and why, and they are not quick to rush you away. They make you feel comfortable as best they can.They definitely live up to the name "Family Dental" because they make you feel like you are part of the family.I am glad I picked this office at random!

I have been a patient for ten years now. Once I called Dr Stoian during a snow storm and she answered her phone and was able to call in a Rx for me. The staff is always friendly and professional and my kids love going to visit Chris the hygienist over there because she always has a little "present" for them after they get their teeth cleaned.
